Second 8th Week Ministries, Inc. Press Release:
January 2005, Pt. Huron, MI

S8WIAA: The Accreditation Body Dedicated To Promoting Choice Education For Christ-Centered Spiritual Transformation.
Providing Leadership And Quality Assurance In Christian Doctrine And Discipline.

Second 8th Week Ministries, Inc., founded Second 8th Week International Accreditation Agency on August 20, 2004 to raise the accountability standards for Christian Education. Dr. vonAnderseck, founder and president of Second 8th Week Ministries, Inc., and Provost of the University, recognized that current faith education did not empower believers with Choice Education in matters of faith. Christian Educators themselves complained that despite their best efforts, the seed of faith was not taking root and lives were not being transformed.

Dr. vonAnderseck’s 28 years of research into faith crisis revealed the persistent evidence of Half-Life in Christian experience. He surveyed Christians from 36 different denominational and non-denominational backgrounds who also supplemented their Christianity with 123 different ministers, authors, speakers, and televangelists. When questions about program accountability, program performance, and program achievement were asked, those surveyed cited Half-Life as a specific Exigent Faith symptom that was troubling.  Half-Life consistently showed up in Dr. vonAnderseck’s surveys as the most frustrating aspect of faith and was cited as the most devastating to Christian experience, demonstrating low-end spiritual yield.

The persistent evidence of Half-Life in Christian experience raises competency questions. Subject Matter Experts in every field of discipline set competency standards for knowledge proficiency and benchmark the standards that produce the desired results. Christian Industry experts, however, have benchmarked standards for faith and spiritual development that prohibits spiritual literacy and inhibits the capabilities of believers to reach their spiritual goals.

In response to this crisis Dr. vonAnderseck engineered a faith nomenclature, standardizing the basic language of faith that accurately defines the dynamics of God’s Intelligent Design for Christ-Centered Spiritual Transformation (IDCCST), thus proving IDCCST against an Exigent Faith.

His objective was to remove faith crisis by restoring the Headship of Jesus Christ through Apostolic Governance and establish accreditation for college and university programs in Cognitive Faith and Choice Education for IDCCST. This is a fundamental turning point in Christian education. Academic disciplines related to CCST such as Psychology, Sociology, Cultural Anthropology, Neurophysiology, Ontology, Religious Education, Theodicy, Theology, Systems Theory, Epistemology, Hermeneutics, Philosophy, Christology,  Phenomenology, Pneumatology, and Eschatology have also been standardized to the same high level for quality assurance.  Programs and labs offered by Second 8th Week University and Colleges are accredited academic disciplines by S8WIAA.

Gap Analysis
Accountability Performance Reporting:

Why We Need A New Approach to
Christian Education and Accountability Standards

Target Analysis:  Studies point to a strong disparity between present accredited Christian Education and present Christian satisfaction in goal achievement.  Dr. vonAnderseck's groundbreaking reports into Half Life and the effects of Themistic Law upon IDCCST detail this disparity.  Cause and Effect Mapping by Dr. vonAnderseck identify the points of origin where this crisis of faith begins and how it propagates through the Journey Mask, the Sliding Scale, Program Exhilaration, Induced Insight Phenomena, and Program Recall.  Developing the vonAnderseck Assessment Scale, Dr. vonAnderseck equips believers with a unprecedented critical scientific tool for assessing their spiritual experiences and understanding how the gap between prediction and outcome for IDCCST goal achievement can not only be bridged but also obtained and measured on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.

Report on Christian Education:

 Consensus:
Improvements  needed
Lack of public confidence

■■■ There are over 10,000 distinct religious groups, including 33,830 Christian denominations in existence today.  Yet, according to noted researcher and author, ?George Barna, the number of unchurched has risen from 39 million in 1991 to 75 million in 2004.  13 million of these people were formerly churched.

Did You Know?

Costs of Christian Supplemental Education

Statistics for mid 2004 indicate that there are 5,543,000 different books about Christianity and 41,000 Christian periodicals.  With just books and periodicals alone, Christians are spending at least $1 billion dollars a year in an effort to 'seek' truth and supplement the education their Faith Practitioner gives them.

Results Assessment of Supplemental Christian Education:
How Do Christians Feel About Their Spiritual Development?

In 5 years of trans-national cross cultural clinical studies Dr. vonAnderseck observed repeated patterns of "Half-Life" in the Christian experience, resulting in failure to achieve sustained, long term Christian goals of
spiritual transformation. Noting generations of knowledge baseline variation as central to the shifting scales practitioners use for program development and performance assessment, Dr. vonAnderseck identified this ambiguation as symptomatic of accreditation, education and leadership that is non-indigenous to the Headship of Jesus Christ and non-indigenous to Apostolic Stewardship.. A new study in 2005 commissioned by Dr. vonAnderseck of faith participants and Christian leaders verifies his 5 year study and assessment, which showed Christians experiencing a 87% failure rate in achieving their spiritual goals with past discipleship and Christian education programs. With Christianity presently a multi-billion dollar industry, yet experiencing an 87% failure product rate, Christians are seeing the disparity and ready for a complete paradigm shift.

Further competency assessment of present accreditation standards for Christian education:

Barna survey confirms Dr. vonAnderseck's findings:

"Few believers said that their church lacked programs, but most Christians complained that little is done to effectively motivate and facilitate their development as genuine, fervent followers of Christ. Our surveys among pastors showed that they dismissed such views as excuses and as inaccurate, but the bottom line remains unchanged: most Christians are simply not making progress in their personal spiritual development."
